Founders Paul Slayton and Aaron Malinsky together represent development capabilities across a broad spectrum of property types including multi-use retail and office, industrial and storage. And with decades of experience in the New York area, the firm’s principals operate with intimate knowledge of every neighborhood, every constituency, every intermediary.

Projects are advanced by experienced, motivated professionals who can provide the attention, the resources and the access needed to take a project through all phases of development. With over 30 years proven experience in the field, PA Associates principal’s, Paul Slayton and Aaron Malinsky, are entrenched in every aspect of the development process. From scouting for intrinsically valuable locations, to conceptualizing creative design and business structure, as well as assembling highly skilled project and management teams, PA Associates fosters each project from conception to completion. Tackling projects which have complex physical, land use, assemblage and economic challenges, the firm has great understanding of the skills and diligence required in putting together successful ventures.
PA Associates recognizes that working alongside local and regional community officials and residents, is often the key component to executing ventures in a timely and positive manner. We work with local leaders on “job fairs” to insure that all projects create both construction and full/part time jobs for local residents. In all phases of development we are committed to proactive outreach to local, minority and women owned business enterprises (MWBE) and their workers. To that end, we partner with local civic organizations, such as Workforce 1, a labor sourcing service of the City’s Department of Small Business Services, to ensure opportunities are extended to these communities. Also, we believe in sustainability and are diligent in the design phase of our projects to build within the guidelines of the U.S. Green Building Council to achieve LEED certification.
PA Associates maintains long standing relationships with national retailers and also believes in a tenant mix on all commercial properties, combining local merchants alongside larger, more well-known stores. Our completed projects have had great success in providing retail enhancements and services to communities, thereby helping to foster economic growth.
