Acadia Realty Trust Acquires Fourth New York Urban/Infill Location; Redevelopment across from New Bronx Courthouse Complex

Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE: AKR “Acadia” or the “Company”), a real estate investment trust, through its acquisition joint venture, Fund II, and in partnership with PA Associates, today announced the purchase of 260 East 161st Street, The Bronx, New York.

"At the rounded, low-slung building that houses the Dyckman Job Center, which sits at the corner of Broadway and Sherman Avenue in Washington Heights….Last month, the building was sold for $25 million to Acadia Realty Trust and PA Associates, New York developers who plan to build a 300,000 square-foot retail and apartment building on the site."
